A private jet bearing the American flag was spotted this week at an airport in Tehran, an oddity considering the fact that the U.S. is not currently doing business with Iran.

The reason for the plane’s visit: Unknown. The plane’s passenger: Also unknown.

The plane, which was seen Tuesday at Mehrabad International Airport in Tehran, according to the New York Times, is owned by the Bank of Utah, a community bank in Ogden that operates 13 branches across the state.

The plane’s tail number, according to Gawker, was spotted recently in Zurich at around the time that the city hosted the annual World Economic Forum.

The same tail number regularly pops up in Ghana. But there’s a good reason for this: That’s where the plane is based.

After 19 years, a man discovers that his loving wife used to be a man. Apparently, they make these sorts of fools. Here’s how it went down.

A Belgian man is seeking to have his marriage annulled after discovering that his Indonesian wife of 19 years had been born a man. The man, only named as Jan, married Monica, his family’s former nanny in a previous marriage, in 1993 despite legal difficulties raised by the Belgian immigration authorities. But it was only in recent weeks that he discovered that his wife had originally been a man and had undergone a sex change.
“I feel I’ve been assaulted,” he said. “I brought her to Belgium. That was not easy. The Belgian courts had serious doubts about the authenticity of her birth and her identity papers, but eventually they accepted it anyway.

“I thought she was an attractive woman, all woman. She had no male traits.” Jan, 64, said that he and his wife had decided not to have children because he had two by his previous marriage and she fooled him by pretending to menstruate, using sanitary towels, “to conceal the truth”. “Even during sex, I never noticed anything,” he said.

For many years the couple lived a normal family life and Monica, 48, was like a “big sister” to his children until their marriage started to come under strain when she got a new full-time job.

Long story short, she started sleeping around with men and the homey found out. He lost it on her/him, according to the report. She/he confessed that she was once a boy. Through the miracle of science, she got an operation and turned into a fella. The man is now in counseling after the trauma. He’s not even allowed to toss his wife out of his own home according to Belgium law. I’m thinking she wants to be out for her own safety…but what do I know?

Gunmen Kill 7 in Attack on Iraqi Government Building

BAGHDAD — Gunmen wearing suicide belts raided a local government building in Samarra on Tuesday, killing four government employees and three police officers in a two-hour battle with security forces, Iraqi officials said. Four of the gunmen died in the fighting, and a fifth blew himself up inside the building, the officials said.

At least 35 people were wounded, officials said.

They said that the five insurgents were able to make their way into the building after another blew up himself at the entrance to the compound in Samarra, a city about 75 miles north of Baghdad.

Security forces stormed the compound and were able to free government employees who had been taken hostage by the gunmen, officials said.
